What is biomorphism?

[ bī-ō-mȯrf-i-zəm ] 

Art that resembles or suggests the forms of living organisms.

Biomorphism explores naturally occuring patterns, shapes or forms that evoke the natural world and living organisms. The extremes can be pushed to either suggest the nature of living organisms in a subtle way or to force the essence of naturally occuring forms onto or within the tangible or functional.
